The beautiful and the right of 2026: The bachelors of Channel 14 broke the internet

A special project by C14 held on Wednesday for Tu B'Av, the Hebrew day of love, managed to stir up a joyful buzz and garnered more than 200,000 views online. In a post uploaded to the channel's official Instagram account, the team decided to address a truly burning issue: "finding a match for the bachelors and bachelorettes of Channel 14."

In a carousel of seven photos, personal details about the channel's presenters and reporters were revealed, aiming to give potential candidates a glimpse a bit more personal than what they are familiar with from the television screen. It seems the initiative did its job – the post quickly became the talk of the day, sparked a flurry of responses, and even found its way into many groups far beyond Instagram.

Among the hundreds of comments, many followers were quick to offer blessings: "A decent and blessed match from the root of the soul for everyone soon, God willing," "I am in love with Channel 14, you have charm and love for Israel and the Almighty." One of the followers even suggested with humor: "Match them with each other, it's simpler."

According to her, alongside the serious inquiries, there were also particularly amusing responses. "Someone wrote to me: 'The fact that you are single is a scoop on the level of Itamar Ben Gvir forming a government with Ayman Odeh'," she said.

It seems that the initiative, carried out for Tu B'Av, managed to do much more than expected – to spark conversations, connect people, and perhaps even lead to a few real matches. Now it only remains to wait and see if the project will earn C14 a "third of paradise" in the future for helping people find their soulmates.
