Murder investigation of Binyahu Razi complicates: "No unequivocal evidence"
Days before the prosecutor's statement in the Binyahu Razi death case, the State Attorney's Office is debating charges against those involved. The key issue is whether there is sufficient evidence of premeditation.
The Jerusalem District Attorney's Office is expected to decide in the coming days which charges will be filed against those involved in the murder case of the late Binyahu Razi. At the center of the debate is whether to charge only the 17-year-old minor, Avior Sasson, with premeditated murder, or also the suspects Agam Tsarfi, Shilat Huta, and Linor Mazal Sasson.
"The problem with this case is that there is no unequivocal evidence that anyone ordered or gave a command to murder Binyahu," a legal source explained to mako. "To prove murder, one must show intent and prior planning, and it is not certain that a 'smoking gun' exists here."
According to the investigation, Tsarfi and Huta were partners in the events that led to the attack in the Airbnb apartment and even watched the incident live via video. While the suspects claim self-defense, the fact that they equipped themselves in advance with knives, clubs, and a meat tenderizer strengthens the case against them. An officer of the Israel Prison Service (IPS) and a traffic police officer were also arrested in connection with the case.
Police estimate that the two women ordered the hit. As a source familiar with the details clarified: "From the police's perspective, Shilat Huta and Agam Tsarfi ordered the liquidation of Binyahu Razi, and there is evidence for the crime of murder with indifference. The final decision on the specific charges rests with the State Attorney's Office."
