LeBron Chose Philadelphia, Adebayo Excludes Him From His All-Time Top 5
Ten days after LeBron James chose to join Philadelphia, Bam Adebayo surprised many by excluding the superstar from his list of the five greatest NBA players of all time.
Ten days have passed since LeBron James chose Philadelphia over the Miami Heat, and tonight came a moment that could be interpreted as a jab from one of the team's stars.
Bam Adebayo was asked to choose the five greatest NBA players of all time, and his decision surprised many: LeBron, who is considered by many to be the greatest player ever or at the very least one of the two greatest in history, did not make the list at all.
Instead of James, the Heat center chose Michael Jordan, Kobe Bryant, Steph Curry, Kevin Durant, and Tim Duncan.
The timing did not go under the radar. Just a few days ago, Miami tried to convince LeBron to return to the club where he won two championships and reached four consecutive NBA finals. After the Lakers announced that he would not continue with them, the Heat dreamed of a reunion, but James ultimately chose to join the Sixers.
Despite the intriguing choice, Adebayo rejected any attempt to create drama regarding his relationship with LeBron:
"I am perfectly fine with LeBron. I consider him like a brother. We played together on the Olympic team, but even before that, we always had conversations on eye level."
The Miami center even congratulated James on the decision he made: "I am happy for him. You always want the best for people you appreciate. For me, that's the whole story."
