The dismissed soldier against the military correspondent: "Delete it or I'm calling a lawyer"
After being removed from reserve service following a political statement and returning to active duty, Ziv Barnes threatens to sue Doron Kadosh, due to what he claims are lies.
Right-wing activist Ziv Barnes served actively in the reserves under the 7th Brigade and was dismissed from service against the backdrop of a political statement made in IDF uniform. However, Barnes returned to service and even thanked the person who, according to him, was responsible for his return behind the scenes — Minister of Defense Israel Katz.
"Thanks to Israel Katz who stopped my dismissal," Ziv posted in a video on social media. Now, the military correspondent for Galei Tzahal, Doron Kadosh, reveals that he approached the IDF Spokesperson with a request for an official response regarding the process of his dismissal from reserve service and his return, but the request was denied. Also, according to Kadosh, Minister of Defense Katz did not respond to the report.
The one who did respond to the remarks is Ziv Barnes, who sent an unequivocal message to Doron Kadosh:
"I am giving you a warning here before you receive a letter from my lawyer: you attributed videos to me in uniform that did not exist. Delete the tweet — or I will call a lawyer after all."
Barnes consistently attacks prominent candidates of the 'change bloc' for the next Knesset: Gadi Eisenkot ('Yashar!') and Naftali Bennett ('Behad'). He also writes on his Instagram page that "our country is a hostage of the Kaplan protest and the refusers. We need to free it."
