According to reports, negotiations between the parties are at a very advanced stage, with the final agreement expected to be signed soon. The Ivory Coast national team winger could become the most expensive signing in Real Madrid's history if the deal is completed in full.
Details of the deal published in the European media point to a structure of 125 million euros in transfer fees, alongside 10 million euros in bonuses defined as easy to achieve and another 5 million euros in more complex bonuses. Thus, the total amount could reach 140 million euros.
Following the completion of the final agreements, Diomande is expected to undergo medical examinations before the official signing of his contract with the Spanish powerhouse.
If the deal goes through, it will break Real Madrid's current record, which belongs to Jude Bellingham, who was purchased from Borussia Dortmund for 127 million euros.
