The Make-A-Wish association, which has been granting wishes for sick children for 30 years, fulfilled the wish of Arbel, a child from Nahariya who dreamed of being the "king of the world." At the center of his wish was a special request: to meet the President of the State and feel, if only for a few moments, what it is like to be the President of the State for one day.

The highlight of the wish-granting day took place at the President's Residence in Jerusalem, where Arbel had the privilege of meeting the President of the State, Isaac Herzog. The President welcomed him warmly, shook his hand, and allowed him to experience the President's Residence up close — an especially moving moment for Arbel and his family. Later that day, Arbel enjoyed a VIP tour of the Knesset, which included an up-close introduction to the building and in-depth explanations, after which he continued his vacation in Jerusalem.

The wish-granting day was produced and organized by the Reuveni Pridan company, in collaboration with the ARLO team, which took part in the process and the production of this special day.

President of the State Isaac Herzog said:

"There are moments that remind us how much power there is in a dream — the meeting with Arbel was such a moment. Arbel is an inspiring child who reminds us all how much power there is in a dream, and how much courage it takes to ask for it to be fulfilled. I was happy to host him at the President's Residence and I wish him to continue dreaming big, believing in himself, and knowing that the sky is the limit."

Denis and Avi Bar-Aharon, founders of the association, stated: "It is a great privilege and excitement for us to arrive for the third time at the President's Residence as part of granting a child's wish. We had the privilege of doing so during the terms of Presidents Shimon Peres and Reuven Rivlin, and now with the President of the State Isaac Herzog. Seeing Arbel enter the President's Residence and receive the opportunity to feel, even for a few moments, like the President of the State for one day — this is a moment that is hard to remain indifferent to. We thank President Herzog from the bottom of our hearts for the warm welcome, the sensitivity, and the time he dedicated to Arbel and his family. Such moments remind us every time anew why we are here — and we hope to continue to fulfill more wishes and create for our children moments that will stay with them for a lifetime."
