Hot Mobile CEO Ilan Brok to Step Down Following Acquisition
After seven years as CEO of Hot Mobile, Ilan Brok has announced his resignation. He will remain in his role until the sale of the company to Delek Israel, Keystone, and Bank Leumi is finalized. During his tenure, the company surpassed 2 million subscribers and achieved significant growth in revenue and profitability.
Hot Mobile CEO Ilan Brok announced his decision to step down after seven years as CEO and approximately 15 years within the Hot Group, it was reported on Thursday. Brok was a founding member of Hot Mobile and was appointed CEO in 2019, having previously served as VP of the business division at the Hot Group and VP of Sales at Hot Mobile. According to the company's statement, Brok will continue to serve as CEO until the completion of the sale transaction and the transfer of ownership to the buyers: Delek Israel, the Keystone Fund, and Bank Leumi. During this transition, Brok will ensure management continuity.
During his tenure, Hot Mobile grew to over 2 million subscribers, recorded growth in revenue and ARPU, and doubled its EBITDA. As CEO, Brok expanded the company's investments in 5G network deployment and integrated artificial intelligence solutions into service systems.
"After seven years as CEO of Hot Mobile and about 15 years in the Hot Group, I have decided that the time has come for me to finish this role and move on to the next chapter. I am very proud of the path we have taken and the strong, innovative company we have built together. The greatest achievement in my eyes is the people. I had the privilege of leading an extraordinary team of managers and employees who believed in our vision," stated Ilan Brok.
In her response, Hot Group CEO Tal Granot noted:
