Israeli OnlyFans Model to Remain in Custody in Los Angeles
Adva Lavie, known by the alias "Mia Ventura," will remain in custody in Los Angeles. A judge ruled that the model is a flight risk following repeated violations of her release conditions.
The Israeli OnlyFans model Adva Lavie (alias "Mia Ventura"), 29, will remain behind bars in Los Angeles. A judge at the Van Nuys courthouse decided last Friday to keep her in custody, ruling that she is a flight risk after repeatedly violating the terms of her release.
The hearing took place against the backdrop of Lavie's third arrest in just a few months. On Tuesday evening, she was arrested by the Beverly Hills Police Department as she left the upscale "Azul" restaurant near Rodeo Drive, after the Indio Police Department in Riverside County issued an arrest warrant against her.
According to new allegations, in April 2025, during the Coachella music festival, Adva Lavie—who presented herself as Mia Ventura—stayed at an Airbnb apartment in the city. It is now alleged that she stole luxury items worth over $11,000 from at least two victims, including a Rolex worth about $8,600, Louis Vuitton glasses, and a designer cardholder.
Reports indicate that some of the thefts were documented by the apartment's security cameras and the Tesla cameras of one of the victims, which led to the issuance of an arrest warrant in Riverside County.
During the arrest this week, Beverly Hills police officers noticed that Lavie was not wearing the electronic ankle monitor required as a condition of her release in a previous case. Consequently, the Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office filed an additional charge of violating a court order.
Adva Lavie's legal troubles began in October 2025, when the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department sought her on suspicion of a series of burglaries and thefts from wealthy men she met on dating apps. According to investigators, between 2023 and 2025, she developed relationships with victims, entered their homes, and stole money, gold, and luxury items.
In March 2026, she was charged with serious crimes, including theft, residential burglary, and identity theft. She pleaded not guilty and was released on bail with an electronic monitor and a prohibition on leaving Los Angeles County.
Since then, she has repeatedly violated her release conditions. In June, she was arrested twice, including for traveling outside Los Angeles County. At that time, despite prosecution requests to return her to custody, judges settled for warnings.
Also under scrutiny is her relationship with 64-year-old Jewish billionaire Steven Clobek, a former California gubernatorial candidate, who was arrested in May on suspicion of attempting to influence witnesses in her case. In February, the couple had planned to marry in June in Jerusalem, but it was reported that the wedding was canceled and Clobek stopped funding her legal defense.
At the hearing on Friday, the judge stated, "Nothing will guarantee that she will show up for trial. She wants everything to be done her way." Local media noted that Lavie, brought to court in handcuffs and prison garb, requested a Hebrew interpreter despite speaking fluent English.
Lavie-Ventura is currently held in the Los Angeles County jail, awaiting proceedings in both cases. If convicted on all charges, the prosecution could seek ten years in prison or more.
