Likud gains in new poll, but Gadi Eisenkot's party maintains lead

The Channel 13 poll published this Wednesday presents a new landscape in the election campaign: Gadi Eisenkot's "Yashar!" party received 26 mandates, while the Likud party received 23. Last week, the parties held 23 and 21 mandates respectively, according to both the channel's previous poll and the "Maariv" poll published on Friday. This marks an increase for Likud following the partial closing of the list after this week's primaries, though "Yashar!" has also surged.

Other results in the poll include:

• "Bejachad" (Naftali Bennett and Yair Lapid) — 13 mandates

• The Democrats — 11 mandates

• Yisrael Beiteinu — 9 mandates

• Otzma Yehudit — 8 mandates

• United Torah Judaism — 8 mandates

• Shas — 7 mandates

• Hadash-Ta'al — 5 mandates

• Ra'am — 5 mandates

• Religious Zionism — 5 mandates

The "Zionist Reservists' Home" party, led by Chili Tropper and Yoaz Hendel, which held 4 mandates last week, fell below the electoral threshold with 1.6% of the vote. The new "Unity Party" of Gilad Erdan and Yuli Edelstein received 1.2%, Benny Gantz's Blue and White received 1.8%, and Balad received 1.9%.

The four mandates lost by Tropper and Hendel's party were divided equally between the two main blocs, each growing by two seats: the Netanyahu coalition now holds 51 mandates (up from 49), while the anti-Netanyahu bloc holds 69 (up from 67), with 10 of those belonging to Arab parties.

Regarding suitability for Prime Minister, Gadi Eisenkot continues to lead with 47% support. Benjamin Netanyahu rose by four percentage points to reach 38%, while 15% of respondents remained undecided. In a head-to-head matchup against Naftali Bennett, the race is tighter, with 43% favoring Bennett compared to 42% for Netanyahu.
