Likud against the statement of Muslim countries: "They are trying to topple Netanyahu"

"They are trying to topple Netanyahu - to get what they want from Eisenkot and Golan": In the Likud, they responded this evening (Sunday) to the harsh statement published by the foreign ministers of eight Muslim countries regarding the Israeli refusal to complete the implementation of the comprehensive plan of US President Donald Trump to end the conflict in Gaza, which was approved by UN Security Council Resolution No. 2803, and also against the Israeli refusal to establish a Palestinian state.
According to the foreign ministers of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the Arab Republic of Egypt, the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, the Republic of Indonesia, the Republic of Turkey, the State of Qatar, and the UAE, the Israeli position constitutes a direct rejection of the comprehensive plan, endangers its implementation, and fundamentally undermines collective efforts to achieve a just and lasting peace. Furthermore, the Israeli refusal confirms that Israel now bears responsibility for disrupting efforts to establish peace in Gaza and the rest of the occupied Palestinian territory.

"Arab countries want to topple Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu," sources in the Likud attacked the joint statement. They are doing this, they added, "so that Eisenkot and Yair Golan will give them everything they want. It will not happen."
In the statement, the ministers attacked what they called "the Israeli rejection of the roadmap," which constitutes, according to them, an explicit refusal to move forward in implementing the comprehensive plan, and directly threatens to derail the intensive efforts invested by US President Donald Trump to end the war in Gaza and create the conditions necessary to achieve a lasting peace.
In this context, the ministers emphasize the importance of continued active US involvement to ensure and compel Israel to fully comply with the obligations and arrangements established in the comprehensive plan and the roadmap derived from it, and to prevent any further disruption to their implementation. They further emphasize that Israel bears direct and full responsibility for any outcome that will result from the continuation of its refusal, disruption, delay, or non-compliance, including any deterioration that will result from this in the situation on the ground, and any paralysis of the efforts to end the war in Gaza.
Sabotaging the agreement
The ministers emphasize again the urgent need for full and immediate implementation of the comprehensive plan, in a way that will help address the severe humanitarian situation, ensure security and stability for everyone in Gaza, pave the way for reconstruction and recovery, and promote the achievement of a just and lasting peace based on the right of the Palestinian people to self-determination and the establishment of their state in accordance with international law, in a way that will pave the way for achieving security and stability for all countries and peoples of the region.
