The player of discord: Yarin Levi extended his contract with Maccabi Haifa for 3 seasons

After a long saga, Yarin Levi has signed a new contract with Maccabi Haifa for 3 seasons (until 2029). Following the signing, Levi stated:

"I am happy and proud to return to Maccabi and wear the green uniform again. I grew up here as a player from a young age, so returning to the club is exciting and significant for me. I gave up quite a bit to be here, out of a great desire to succeed, to give of myself and help the team, and mainly to make the fans happy."

As recalled, Yarin Levi played for the last two years on loan at Beitar Jerusalem and became a rising star of the Premier League. This summer he returned to the green uniform, where he was not welcomed and received quite a few insults from the fans on the Carmel.

Beitar Jerusalem holds 50% of the player's contract, and the release clause stands at 2.5 million euros, which will be divided between the two clubs in the event of a sale. In Jerusalem, they are not satisfied with this move by Maccabi Haifa, as there was an agreement that he would be released abroad if a worthy offer arrived, and now he is being kept on the Carmel for another three years.
