Eyal Berkovic's son on his father: "He doesn't love life"
In a new clip from their joint podcast, Lior Berkovic did not spare criticism of his father and explained exactly why he thinks he is boring, while the former star tried to defend himself and explain his choices.
A new clip from the podcast "The Magician and His Sons," published on the Instagram page of "HaPodium," reveals an amusing conversation between Eyal Berkovic and his son Lior, in which the two discussed the differences in their characters and lifestyles.
When asked how he and his father are particularly different, Lior replied without hesitation: "I love life, you are a boring person." He later explained that in his opinion, his father does not travel the world often, and even when he goes on vacation, he usually stays within the borders of Europe.
Eyal Berkovic explained that the reason for this is mainly his dislike of flights, but Lior continued with a laugh and said: "Fine, so he doesn't love life."
Berkovic said that after retiring from football, he tried to find new thrills off the pitch, but realized that nothing compares to the feelings the sport gave him. According to him, today he enjoys the simple moments, such as a meal with his partner or quality time with his granddaughter.

He further added that despite the claims that he does not go out and socialize, there is almost no evening where he stays at home, but he simply does not tend to display it outwardly. According to him, exotic vacations, safaris, or distant trips appeal to him less, and he does not see a big difference between a beach in Greece and other beaches in the world.
