Yesh Atid MK linked to potential Ra'am move resigns from Knesset

In a published statement, he wrote: "Today I announced my resignation from the Knesset, in which I served on behalf of Yesh Atid since 2019."
According to Segalovitz, "Throughout the years, I had the privilege to influence issues close to my heart, both as a Knesset member and as Deputy Minister of Public Security." He thanked party chairman Yair Lapid, his fellow Knesset members, and Yesh Atid activists "for the partnership, the trust, and the joint work for the State of Israel."
He concluded his statement with well wishes for Yesh Atid and the Yahad Party, which he said will continue to "act with determination for the citizens of the State of Israel." However, Segalovitz did not address his next political steps or detail the reasons behind his decision to retire. The resignation has reawakened speculation regarding his political future; recently, his name emerged as a possible candidate to join the Ra'am list after party chairman Mansour Abbas identified him as a potential recruit.
