Kim Kardashian's estate broken into — the suspect did not settle for just theft
The Los Angeles Police Department was called to Kim Kardashian's estate, which is currently undergoing renovations, after a burglar broke into the premises, took one of the star's vehicles, and went for a joyride in the neighborhood. Kim and her children were not there.
A suspect was arrested on Sunday at Kim Kardashian's estate in Los Angeles after breaking into her home, stealing items, and even taking one of her cars for a joyride around the neighborhood. Police officers called to the scene located him inside the house and arrested him on suspicion of burglary and vehicle theft.
Sergeant Chris Sunderland of the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department told the New York Post that the matter is still in the initial stages of investigation. Kardashian and her children have not been living at the estate in recent months due to ongoing renovations, but are instead renting a nearby house. According to reports, the star was not on the property at the time of the incident.
The estate is valued at over 60 million dollars (approximately 220 million shekels). The star and her ex-husband Kanye West purchased the property in 2014 for 20 million dollars (about 74 million shekels), invested heavily in renovations, and moved in during 2017. Following the finalization of their divorce in 2022, Kardashian remained there with her four children: North (13), Saint (10), Chicago (8), and Psalm (7).
Cars, as is well known, are not lacking for Kardashian, who is currently close to racing driver and Formula 1 star Lewis Hamilton. Just today, the star shared a carousel of photos on her Instagram account showing the two together in a particularly close setting.
