25-year-old military correspondent Inon Shalom Yttach proposed to his partner, Maya Klein. The couple was captured during a romantic picnic when the journalist surprised her with a ring.
Young journalist Inon Shalom Yttach, 25, who serves as a military and security correspondent for i24NEWS, got engaged this past Friday to his partner, Maya Klein.
"One day a journalist will hit on you at a demonstration; it is very important that you say yes to him," Maya wrote in an Instagram post featuring photos from the proposal. In the video, the couple is seen enjoying a picnic in nature. Yttach handed her a wine bottle, then suddenly stood up, leaving Maya wondering what was happening.
He then dropped to one knee while she was busy with a corkscrew. As they talked, Yttach pulled out the ring, and Maya, realizing the moment had arrived, could not hold back her tears.
Yttach began his media career at the Walla! news site, where he covered security issues, the IDF, and the Judea and Samaria sector. Today, he serves as a military correspondent for i24NEWS, covering the security arena and military affairs.
