CENTCOM Commander arrived at IDF command meeting - Chief of Staff declared: "We are in a state of immediate readiness"
US Central Command Commander Admiral Brad Cooper participated in the IDF command staff conference and reviewed the partnership with the US in the war against Iran. Chief of Staff Zamir emphasized that the IDF is prepared for a rapid return to intense combat on all fronts.
US Central Command (CENTCOM) Commander, Admiral Brad Cooper, participated today, Monday, in the IDF command staff conference and reviewed for the officers the partnership between Israel and the US during the war with Iran.
The conference, held at the Palmachim Air Force Base, was attended by all commanders of the IDF's maneuvering units from the rank of Lieutenant Colonel and above. The event included hundreds of battalion, squadron, missile ship, brigade, and division commanders, commanders of Navy and Air Force arrays, and the entire General Staff forum. The conference presented the developments of the war with Iran as well as the situation on all combat fronts in Gaza, Lebanon, Syria, and the West Bank.
"The achievements we have attained on all fronts are first and foremost your achievements - the commanders and the forces, on land, at sea, and in the air, the intelligence, communications, logistics, and administration personnel - together you led the IDF to significant achievements and changed the security reality," opened Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Eyal Zamir in his remarks.
The Chief of Staff added:
"On all the main fronts, political negotiation processes are taking place these days - all of these are the result of the IDF's historic achievements. We must ensure that we bring the campaign's achievements to fruition and maximize them. We are well prepared in defense alongside readiness and immediate alertness for a return to intense combat."
As part of the forum, a multi-front operational-intelligence review and a discussion among commanders on the continuation of the campaign took place. The commanders presented case studies alongside reviews on the development of the fighting and lessons from the operational activity in all sectors.
CENTCOM Commander, Admiral Brad Cooper, reviewed during the forum the deep and strategic partnership between the IDF and the United States military. In his remarks, Admiral Cooper emphasized that the partnership between the militaries is historic and based on trust, commitment, and strong and close cooperation, and constitutes a significant component in strengthening security and stability in the region.
The Chief of Staff thanked Admiral Cooper for the close cooperation and presented him with a shield as a token of appreciation and esteem for the deep partnership between the militaries. The Chief of Staff stated that the cooperation with the US military is unprecedented and serves as an anchor.
In his remarks, Chief of Staff Zamir said:
"We are in a significant period and at a strategic crossroads. The IDF is a fighting army, and we are in a large, ongoing, and multi-front campaign. Our mission is to influence reality and not be dragged behind it, and this is through tactical and systemic initiative. The IDF is implementing a systemic, methodical, and orderly work plan for victory. Since October 7, the IDF has proven itself as a winning army, possessing a spirit of power - an offensive and proactive army."
Zamir continued:
"The IDF, with all its units, is in an interim period. We are alert and ready for all challenges. We will keep our ranks cohesive and united in the face of all the threats before us. This is a fateful security period for the country - and we will act responsibly accordingly. Alongside the desire to allow the forces to refresh, we must not lose alertness. We are required to maintain high readiness, to be prepared for a rapid return to intense combat, to respond quickly to any development, and to continue to protect our citizens."
"Our challenge now is not only to preserve the achievements, but to continue to shape reality, to build force, and to ensure that the IDF is ready for any scenario," the Chief of Staff told the IDF commanders.
