IRGC responds to Donald Trump's statement: "You are a liar"
The spokesperson for the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) denied on Monday US President Donald Trump's claims regarding unofficial communication channels between Iran and Washington, labeling them a lie and an illusion.

The spokesperson for the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) denied on Monday US President Donald Trump's claims regarding unofficial communication channels between the IRGC and the United States: "This is a lie by Trump, this is merely an illusion fed by delusions and nightmares stemming from defeat in the war and from despair."
As previously reported, the US President stated that Washington maintains contact with the leadership of the IRGC through unofficial channels. "We are talking directly to officials in the IRGC authorities in Iran," he said during an interview with Fox News.
Donald Trump added that "Iran must raise a white flag of surrender" and noted that the American naval blockade continues to exert new economic pressure on the Iranian regime: "The Iranians are good at playing poker – but they are dying."
