National Insurance Institute Begins Benefit Distributions: Check Your Bank Accounts
August has arrived, and the National Insurance Institute has already transferred the first benefits to those eligible. When will the rest of the benefits be distributed, when is the mandatory reporting deadline, and by how much has the average payment increased this year?
August has arrived, and as every month, the National Insurance Institute is distributing grants and benefits to hundreds of thousands of Israelis eligible for state support. The ice website clarifies which grants and benefits are expected to reach your account in August, when you will receive them, when the mandatory reporting deadline is, and how much the average payment has increased.
The first benefits to be credited this month are unemployment benefits and income support, which will be paid to eligible recipients as early as this morning (Wednesday, 12.8). The reporting and payment deadline for insurance contributions for the self-employed and employers falls on 15.8; however, since this date is a Saturday, the deadline is delayed by one day to 16.8.
Furthermore, child allowances are scheduled to reach eligible accounts on 20.8. The remaining benefits are scheduled for 28.8, but as this is a Friday, the National Insurance Institute will advance the payment by one day to Thursday, 27.8.

Meanwhile, the National Insurance Institute revealed that the average benefit amount has increased since the beginning of 2026 due to a 2.64% rise in the Consumer Price Index. The average benefit amount for all categories, following the latest update, is approximately 5,280 shekels.
