Right-wing activist Mordechai David recently attended a left-wing demonstration, where he engaged in a confrontation with actor and voice actor Tomer Sharon (Tomesh), widely known for dubbing the character 'Timon' in 'The Lion King'. During the exchange, David asked Sharon: "Are you not ashamed to support them here? They talk about settler terror, but two Jews were murdered in a terror attack." The actor replied loudly: "No, six people were murdered, both Jews and Palestinians."

The actor's remarks sparked significant criticism on social media. Many users, who associate him with his iconic voice roles, expressed deep disappointment: "Why Timon? I grew up on you!", "Oh, Timon, you disappointed", "Another actor I won't want to see. A pity", "A mixed multitude in the square".
The demonstration took place following a shooting attack near Havat Gilad in Samaria, where a group of Israeli hikers was targeted in the area of the village of Tel. Yuval Ezra and Binyahu Malet, a member of the Havat Gilad standby squad, were murdered in the attack. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stated he would convene a meeting with security chiefs to discuss the response:
"We will not allow terror to raise its head."
