Deal agreed: What is preventing Diomande's move to Real Madrid?
The Blancos have already reached an understanding with Leipzig, but a dispute over representation commissions has reached FIFA, delaying the deal. A temporary solution is currently being explored to allow the transfer to be completed.

The official announcement regarding the transfer of Yan Diomande to Real Madrid is being delayed, and not due to a dispute between the clubs. According to a report in 'AS', the reason is a conflict between the winger's previous representatives and the Roc Nation agency, which currently manages his affairs.
On one side are Max Gradel and the Maxidel company, and on the other is the Roc Nation agency of rapper Jay-Z. Real Madrid conducted negotiations with Roc Nation, but Maxidel filed a complaint with FIFA, claiming breach of contract and entitlement to a commission from the deal.
Maxidel is the company that handled Diomande's move from Leganes to Leipzig last year and now claims that it still holds his representation rights. According to the report, Leipzig even granted the company authorization to conduct negotiations regarding the player. The conflict is not limited to an internal dispute between the agencies, and it could directly affect the completion of the transfer and the registration of Diomande at Real Madrid.
According to 'AS', the Spanish club was not aware of the dispute, which they claim does not involve them, and they believe that the deal will eventually be approved. One of the options being examined is granting a temporary license to Diomande until FIFA rules on the dispute concerning the representation commission and part of the total deal value.
According to the report, the rest of the deal's details have already been almost completely agreed upon. Real Madrid and Leipzig have reached understandings regarding the transfer fee and payment method, the documents have been prepared, and Diomande's terms at the Spanish club have also been agreed upon.
However, FIFA still needs to give its approval. The organization is examining the complaint and could delay, or in extreme cases even prevent, the issuance of the player's international transfer certificate as long as there is an open dispute regarding representation rights. Real Madrid also seeks to avoid paying a commission to a party that is not entitled to it, which could lead to sanctions.
The conflict began after Diomande decided a few months ago to move to Roc Nation, which represents, among others, Vinicius and Endrick through agent Frederico Pena. During his vacation in the United States, the player visited the company's offices in New York, was invited to a Jay-Z concert at Yankee Stadium, and met with the agency's executives.
Meanwhile, Diomande is in Leipzig waiting for the resolution of the dispute, while from his perspective, the details of the move have already been agreed upon. Real Madrid also hopes for a quick decision that will allow it to complete the deal and announce it officially.
