Unceasing violence: A young man of about 20 was stabbed this evening (Friday) on Halutzei HaTa'asiya Street in Haifa and was evacuated to Rambam Hospital in the city in serious condition. The police have opened an investigation and have begun searches to locate those involved in the incident.

MDA emergency medical technician Yoed Amar described the scene:

"The wounded man was conscious and suffering from a penetrating injury to his body. We provided him with medical treatment and evacuated him in an MDA intensive care ambulance to the hospital in serious condition."

Earlier today, 31-year-old Badran Badarna from Arraba in the Lower Galilee was shot to death and found in an open area in the city. MDA medics and paramedics who arrived at the scene pronounced his death, and the police began collecting findings from the scene and opened an investigation into the circumstances of the incident.

MDA paramedic Lior Glazer said:

"When we arrived at the scene, we were led to a man who was lying unconscious, without a pulse and without breathing, and suffering from a penetrating injury. We performed medical checks, but unfortunately his injury was too critical and we had no choice but to pronounce his death."

The Abraham Initiatives organization updated: 163 Arabs have lost their lives since the beginning of 2026 in circumstances related to crime and violence, including 159 citizens and 4 residents, of whom 141 were shot to death, 7 were stabbed to death, and the victims include 12 women or girls. This is an increase of 1.24% compared to the same period last year.

Yesterday, the Northern District Attorney's Office filed serious indictments in the Nazareth District Court against three defendants: a 43-year-old resident of Sajur, a 28-year-old resident of Samia, and a 19-year-old resident of Kiryat Shmona, for the double murder about two months ago in the village of Buq'ata in the northern Golan Heights, in which local resident Marwan Abu Shahin (52) and Saada Saada (56) from Hurfeish were shot to death.

From the indictment, filed by attorneys Yael Katz, Lusana Saig, and Tom Yairi, it emerges that the hit squad of a criminal organization from the north organized in advance to carry out the murder, as the day before the murder they rented a zimmer in Buq'ata, to which they arrived with two vehicles they had purchased from a car lot in Isfiya.
