Reality star shares: "There were several attempts and it wasn't the time. It's painful"
Even in his second round on the cooking reality show, Eliav Sasson manages to stand out and receive many compliments from the judges. While preparing the next dish for them, the cook shared his desire to become a father and the challenging journey he is going through alongside his partner on the way to parenthood: "I need the prayers of the entire nation of Israel."
Eliav Sasson is one of the prominent contestants on MasterChef, who manages to garner quite a few compliments from the judges for the brilliant dishes he prepares. But alongside the great success in the competition, in his personal life he is going through a difficult journey, as he and his partner are in the midst of a process to become parents.
While cooking in the kitchen, Sasson spoke in the last aired episode about the challenging period he is going through on the way to parenthood — and shared his dream of being a father. The wedding dress designer has been in a relationship for eight years and does not hide that he and his partner are in the midst of a process to bring a child into the world.
"In recent years I have had several attempts in several ways, and apparently it was not yet the time, and it is painful," he shared. "I have had a room ready for a child for so long, waiting to hear the noise of a baby and change diapers for my child. I need the prayers of the entire nation of Israel so that next year I can announce that after a journey of over ten years, I am finally holding a child in my arms."
Sasson previously shared his desire to be a parent on social media, when he was looking for a surrogate mother to help him and his partner fulfill the dream. "We are looking for the angel who will look us in the eyes and feel a connection in her heart, that this is her mission and that she is meant to be our surrogate mother," he wrote.
He also addressed the issue in an interview earlier this month, and shared that within all the difficulty, he manages to maintain faith:
"I want to start a family in the way I am aiming for, it is challenging just like everything in life. You don't have to be afraid of challenges, it is possible, it is happening and it is here. I have my own way, I know that the Creator is with me, and what is mine will come to me easily and precisely. I just need patience."
