The star of Israel's most famous audition makes a comeback: "There is no choice"
The beloved singer announces a new album that has been launched, and talks about the complexity of its creation, and what brought her into the recording studio.
Singer Yuval Dayan, who was discovered as a teenager on the singing reality show "The Voice" and withdrew from Shlomi Shabat's team during the semi-finals, announces a new album launched today, Thursday, titled "Hine Bau HaYamim" (Here Come the Days).
Dayan describes how for a year she wandered between studios trying to heal the wounds of the Iron Swords War:
"To thaw this freezing, which prevented me from writing. No matter how much I tried, I couldn't, because apparently the desire not to feel at all became what I feared most all these years: writer's block."
Nevertheless, Dayan shares what encouraged her to enter the recording studio:
"Somewhere in the winter, I decided that there is no choice but to set out on the path. If I chose this profession, it is not only when it is easy and flowing. I believe that one must speak honestly and hear a story from its beginning to its end, in order to understand its completeness."
Dayan shares about the complexity of the new album, which contains 11 songs: "This is the first time I am collaborating with so many creators and producers, each of whom is a world unto themselves, who breathed life into a different part of me and brought out things I didn't believe existed."
