The new route will operate with a frequency of three weekly flights—on Sundays, Mondays, and Thursdays—with the goal of offering a comfortable flight experience. Flights will depart from Ben Gurion Airport in the afternoon, and return flights from Madrid will depart in the evening. Round-trip ticket prices start at $340 per person.
The launch of the route to Madrid is part of a broad growth trend for the company, within which it is upgrading and deepening its network of destinations around the world. This destination is added to a series of sought-after routes, and Israir is soon expected to record a significant leap forward with the start of direct flight operations to New York using wide-body aircraft that the company recently acquired.
