The Palestinian news agency 'Ma'an' reported on a 'mutiny within the Israeli army,' stating that dozens of soldiers and officers from the Tzabar Battalion fled the Sde Teiman base in the south following the implementation of stricter disciplinary measures.
'Sada News' described the event as 'unprecedented,' noting that approximately one hundred soldiers, including fighters and commanders of the battalion, left the base due to a dispute with the battalion commander. Both agencies cited reports from Israeli media.
Egyptian outlets, including the newspaper 'Al-Ahram' and the 'Al-Qahera News' channel, also covered the story. Citing Israeli reports, they stated that the soldiers' departure resulted in the battalion being removed from operational readiness.
