The return of "Power Couple" to the screen, hosted by Ron Shahar, brought with it a stormy season that put eight celebrity couples to a continuous relationship test in a luxurious palace. Throughout the season, the couples faced difficult physical and mental tasks that tested their level of trust and communication. Alongside the challenges, the villa was in turmoil due to tensions, dramas, and dramatic twists, which included surprising eliminations that shook the relationships between the contestants.

One of the biggest storms of the season occurred when 26-year-old social media influencer Odia Pinto failed to identify the picture of the late former Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin. Pinto later explained that as someone who grew up in an ultra-Orthodox education system, she knows the story of the assassination, but had never been exposed to his image and could not connect the appearance to the name. The incident sparked a sharp public debate on social media and in the media regarding sectoral gaps and the education system, and drew harsh criticism from media figures like Roni Rahav and many users.

The storm surrounding the lack of recognition quickly led to a confrontation inside the villa between Odia and veteran actress Hani Nahmias. When Hani tried to test Odia's general knowledge and asked her about the famous play "Bustan Sephardi" ("Spanish Garden"), Odia innocently replied that the name reminded her of Bustan HaGalil near Akko, and even shared that she had never been to a theater play. The answer led to a loud explosion, as Odia perceived Hani's behavior as condescension and belittling attempts at education. The argument later spilled over into an exchange of stinging WhatsApp messages that were exposed and became a charged discussion about generational and cultural gaps.

Tonight (Monday), the drama reaches its peak in the grand finale event that will be broadcast on Reshet 13. Three prominent couples have reached the finish line: Asi and Adi Buzaglo, Uri and Anna Banai, and Omri and Dorin Kanda.
