While William and Kate are "tearing their hair out," it has been revealed that the Duchess is in talks for a coveted role in a Guy Ritchie series, against the backdrop of a new box office failure for the joint project with Harry.
Almost 48 hours have passed since it became known that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, are expected to return to the UK together with their two children, Archie and Lilibet - after six years and eight months in California.
While reports indicate that King Charles is excited to spend time with his grandchildren, and Prince William and Kate Middleton are "tearing their hair out in frustration and stress," the motive behind the dramatic decision has now been revealed - which is far from a family reconciliation.

According to PEOPLE magazine, the Duchess of Sussex has received an offer for a new and major acting project, which is expected to be her most significant role since her days on the series Suits. The project in question is what shaped the timing of the two's return to the kingdom. Royal correspondent Bronte Coy first revealed the details on the BBC Radio 4 program Today:
"I was told it is significant, and she is very excited about it."
A few hours later, it became known that Markle is in preliminary talks to join the third season of the Netflix series by director Guy Ritchie, The Gentlemen, starring Theo James. However, the series has not yet been officially renewed for a third season (the second season is scheduled to premiere on September 3), and it has not yet been determined what role she might play. Representatives for Netflix, Meghan, and Harry refused to comment on the reports, but also did not deny the existence of the project.

At the beginning of the week, it was published that the new documentary film "Cookie Queens," produced by Prince Harry and Meghan Markle through their production company Archewell Productions, recorded an especially weak opening at the box office in the United States over the weekend.
