North Korea launches an attack against Donald Trump: "Trying to harm us"

North Korea attacked the Donald Trump administration and US allies on Tuesday following recent warnings regarding Pyongyang's cyber activity. The North Korean government dismissed the claims as "baseless accusations" intended to damage the country's image and justify further pressure.

In a statement released by the state news agency KCNA, a North Korean Foreign Ministry spokesperson claimed that the warning issued under US leadership is a political move. He also attacked the multinational sanctions monitoring mechanism established by Washington and other countries.

"It is illogical for the United States, which possesses and operates the largest cyber force in the world, to talk about 'cyber threats' from other countries," the statement said. This was published in response to a joint warning by the United States, South Korea, Japan, and eight other countries, stating that technology workers from North Korea are using fake identities to secure remote jobs at companies around the world.

North Korea rejected the claims and accused Washington of turning cyberspace into a battlefield itself, through the development of offensive capabilities and the holding of joint exercises with its allies. Pyongyang clarified that it will not accept the use of the cyber issue as a means of exerting political pressure.
