Cristiano Ronaldo's Partner Sparks Online Controversy with Hebrew Caption
Georgina Rodriguez, partner of Cristiano Ronaldo, sparked an online firestorm after posting a video with a Hebrew caption during their family vacation in Mallorca.

Georgina Rodriguez has once again managed to ignite the web — this time precisely because of one word in Hebrew. The partner of Cristiano Ronaldo and mother of his children shared a video of spectacular views from the Spanish island during their family vacation in Mallorca, but what drew all the attention was the caption she added: "Bria" (healthy), written in Hebrew.
Within a few minutes, the comments on the post were flooded, and many of them came from users who did not understand the choice of the Hebrew language. Among the comments written: "You should have written Palestine instead and that's it," "Why in Hebrew???" and "Ronaldo in Israel?". Others added emojis and stickers of Lamine Yamal waving the Palestinian flag, turning the post into a scene of heated arguments.
This is not the first time that the family vacation of Ronaldo and Georgina has made headlines. Just a few days ago, another post by the football star went viral, in which he shared a childhood photo of himself alongside a similar picture with his son, Cristiano Jr., on the beach in Mallorca. The post received millions of shares and became one of the most talked-about on social networks.
The caption in Hebrew also has a background that adds interest. On October 11, 2023, four days after the October 7 attack, Georgina Rodriguez was at the center of a storm on social networks after she initially shared a story with a picture of a girl from Gaza, which was perceived by many as an expression of one-sided support for the Palestinians. Following a wave of sharp criticism, she deleted the story and uploaded a new version in its place that included two pictures — one of an Israeli child who was harmed and one of the same girl from Gaza — alongside a message calling for peace.
