Channel 14 presented 'footage of former Military Advocate General' - which turned out to be a case of mistaken identity

The channel broadcast 'exclusive and special footage' in which the channel's researcher is seen questioning a woman presented as former Military Advocate General Yifat Tomer-Yerushalmi. Although the woman refused to answer the questions and remained silent, the channel chose to broadcast the material anyway. However, shortly after the broadcast, social media users noticed the embarrassing mistake and exposed: the person filmed is not Tomer-Yerushalmi.

An embarrassing incident on air: Channel 14 presented to viewers what was defined by them as 'exclusive and special footage' of former Military Advocate General Yifat Tomer-Yerushalmi.

In the footage, the channel's researcher Meir Shamtzov is seen approaching the woman and questioning her. In response, the woman refused to answer the questions directed at her and stated that she was not interested in answering. Despite the lack of response, the channel chose to broadcast the recorded material anyway and present it to the audience.

However, the news achievement was quickly replaced by great embarrassment. A few minutes after the segment was broadcast, comments began to appear on social media from sharp-eyed users who immediately noticed the mistake. The users pointed out that the woman caught on the lens of Channel 14's camera is not Tomer-Yerushalmi at all, which turned the dramatic footage that the channel decided to broadcast into an especially embarrassing case of mistaken identity in front of the viewers.

'A several-minute item in the main edition of the propaganda channel that poses as a news channel,' wrote Moshe Radman. 'There is only one problem: the woman that the "researcher" is trying to interview on the street in the exclusive footage is not Yifat Tomer-Yerushalmi. I swear you can't make this up, it's just impossible!'
