Right-Wing Factions Weigh Opposing 26th Knesset Election Results Certification
Right-wing representatives on Israel's Central Elections Committee weigh voting against ratifying the 26th Knesset results amid ongoing probes into alleged ballot irregularities.

Right-wing faction representatives on the Central Elections Committee are considering voting against the certification of the 26th Knesset election results. The potential move is being evaluated ahead of the scheduled vote on Wednesday.
While a final consensus has not yet been reached among all bloc members, the option of joining Otzma Yehudit to present a unified right-wing front against ratifying the results is currently on the table. Otzma Yehudit was the first party to announce its opposition to the certification, driven by suspicions of irregularities and foreign interference under investigation in the "Ballot Box Terror" affair.
Supreme Court Justice and Central Elections Committee Chairman Noam Solberg earlier rejected a demand by Likud to urgently convene the committee presidency and present classified investigative material. Solberg stated that neither the presidency nor the plenary holds the statutory authority to delay the publication of results or invalidate votes, emphasizing that any challenges must be brought before the courts.
Solberg noted that the Shin Bet, Israel Police, and State Attorney's Office are actively investigating the suspicions, warning that disclosing investigative details prematurely could compromise the probe. Final election results are slated for publication in Reshumot by Wednesday, November 4, leaving right-wing representatives with a brief window to finalize their stance.
