The Central Elections Committee is set to recruit nearly 100,000 people for election day, offering a variety of one-day roles ranging from election integrity inspectors to facility managers. If you are interested in participating in the democratic process while earning a competitive salary, here are the details regarding the available positions and requirements:

Election Integrity Inspector

A supervisory role focused on deterring, documenting, and reporting irregularities. Inspectors remain at the polling station throughout the day, including the counting phase, and are equipped with body cameras. They are the only personnel authorized to film within the polling station area. Candidates must undergo a screening process, including an online course, a regional interview, and a four-hour in-person training session.

  • Registration: Open from August 19 until August 27 at 23:00.

  • Requirements: Age 21 or older, no party membership or activity in the last 3 years, 12 years of schooling, and perfect command of Hebrew.

  • Salary: Approximately 2,260 NIS gross.

  • Working hours: From the start of the day until the final report submission.

Polling Station Usher

A logistical role involving queue management, voter guidance, and maintaining order. Ushers do not have enforcement powers but are responsible for preventing crowding and prohibited propaganda.

  • Registration: Via the *0200 hotline or the committee's contact form.

  • Requirements: Age 18 or older.

  • Salary: Approximately 1,300 NIS.

  • Working hours: Typically 06:30 to 22:30.

Facility Manager / Complex Manager

Responsible for the physical infrastructure of the polling site, including electricity, lighting, accessibility, air conditioning, and the arrangement of voting booths, as well as securing the building at the end of the day.

  • Registration: Via the *0200 hotline or the committee's contact form.

  • Salary: 1,300 NIS gross.

  • Working hours: From early morning until all equipment is removed.
