A mysterious man spending his days inside an air-conditioned "living room" built on a billboard at a height of about 9 meters has become a local attraction in West Hollywood. Residents and tourists have been arriving specifically to watch him, take photos, and try to understand what exactly he is doing there. However, behind the unusual sight lies a promotional campaign by Netflix for a new film.

Since Thursday, the man, whose identity remains undisclosed, has been "living" inside a billboard on Sunset Boulevard. Behind the glass facade, a real living room was constructed for him, complete with a bookshelf, plants, a table, armchairs, pictures, and red curtains—there is even air conditioning.

The man walks around the space in pajamas and a bathrobe, drinks coffee, watches the street through binoculars, and occasionally waves to the crowd gathering below. To communicate with passersby, he uses a whiteboard, and one of the messages he displayed read:

"I'm stuck."

The unusual installation quickly attracted attention on social media and in local news. Residents and tourists have been flocking to the intersection of Sunset Boulevard and Selma Avenue to see the man, with many wondering what his life looks like inside the billboard and whether it even includes a shower or a toilet.

However, the man is not actually in any distress. It is a promotional stunt by Netflix to advertise the new film "The Last House," which was released on the streaming service this past Friday. On the blue shutters below the "house," the question appears: "How long could you survive?"

The film, directed by Louis Leterrier and starring Greta Lee and Wagner Moura, tells the story of a family of four trapped in their home with no way to leave. The family members are forced to deal with dwindling resources and a mysterious threat that prevents them from venturing into the outside world.

The campaign is expected to end on Saturday, but in the short time it has been running, it has already become a local landmark. One resident said he arrived after seeing videos on social media: "Everyone is covering this. Is there air conditioning? Is there a toilet? I saw videos where he walks around in a bathrobe."

A tourist from England compared the installation to the famous stunt by magician David Blaine, who in 2003 spent more than a month inside a glass box suspended over the River Thames in London.

Charis Butler, who came from Burbank with her son to see the billboard, admitted that the move achieved its goal: "It makes you want to see the movie. Seeing this makes me want to watch and find out what it's about."
