"I thought he was hot, so we slept together": Kourtney Kardashian's former nanny responds to rumors
The former nanny of the star and her husband recently revealed a secret from her past: she had sexual relations with one of the fathers she worked for, a story that sparked speculation about infidelity. Now she is responding.
After recently revealing on the reality show she stars in, "Million Dollar Nanny," a secret from her past and admitting that she had sexual relations with a client of hers — according to her, a single father she worked for for years — without revealing his identity, Kourtney Kardashian's former nanny, Leah Bars, is now responding to rumors that it is the star's husband, American drummer Travis Barker.
The 31-year-old former nanny took care of Kardashian's three children with her ex, Scott Disick — Mason (16), Penelope (14), and Reign (11), between 2019 and 2022. However, as she shared on the "Boyfriend Material" podcast, the sexual relationship with that father took place even before Kardashian and Barker, who have a two-year-old son together, Rocky, became a couple in January 2021.
"This was when I first moved to Los Angeles. I was 22," Bars shared.
But the real story, according to her, is that she saw that father as a friend. "I did him a favor one night. He returned from his event. His daughter was sleeping. Technically, my shift was already over — he is my friend. I always thought he was hot. So we slept together," Bars recalled, adding that it was "something so meaningless, that happened so long ago and just got blown out of proportion."
After the secret from the past was revealed, Bars paid a price for it in the present: the family she worked for at the time found out the story and fired her. "I fell apart afterwards and could not stop crying. It was my fault. I just should have kept my mouth shut," she admitted. As for Barker, she clarified: "No. Oh my God, no."
Last June, she told "People" magazine that she should not have slept with that father, even though, apparently, he was single at the time. "I was working for him that evening, so I should not have crossed that line. It is something I regret doing. At the same time, I guess I don't regret it, because you learn from mistakes, but I am not that person anymore today." To Kardashian, as she told in the past, she arrived through a pastor from Los Angeles. "It was fate," Bars said.
