"I don't see you as my wife": The sentence that shattered Emily Cooper
A year after the happy couple's interview, Emily Cooper reveals the behind-the-scenes of the painful breakup with Idan Galper.

Exactly one year after the joint interview in which they presented a great love, Emily Cooper finds herself in a completely different place, a fresh divorcee starting to pick up the pieces. The path to this dramatic step was not easy, and it took her a long time to recover. Those who helped her get back on her feet and provided strong support during this turbulent period were her family members, alongside her focus on a huge professional project that entered her life just in time.
The relationship between Emily and Idan Galper, which began in front of the "Big Brother" cameras, encountered many complexities. Although things seemed to flow on the surface, beneath them grew significant gaps and a persistent sense of uncertainty on Emily's part. When they examined their shared future, she realized that the gaps between them were too large and decided that she did not want to waste her time anymore. Within the relationship, she felt insecure, not beautiful or smart enough, and although she was sure of Idan's love for her, she was accompanied by the feeling that she was simply "not enough" for him.
The first crack was revealed following a small argument that gave Emily the space to open up about her feelings, which left Idan in shock; suddenly, a mountain was made out of a molehill. The turning point and the real crisis began during a vacation in Eilat, where things felt forced and no solutions were found. There was much irony in that vacation because, precisely at the height of the crisis, rumors were spread about the two getting engaged—rumors that were far from reality.
The end came during another vacation in the north, to which they went in a final attempt to bridge the gaps. In the zimmer where they were, when they realized that the relationship was no longer suitable, the breakup conversation took place. That night ended in one bed with both of them turning their backs to each other. Following the outpouring of things from Emily's side, Idan cut the relationship off finally and said to her the sentence:
"I don't see you as my wife."
These words left her broken, with a heavy feeling of frustration and the question of what was wrong with her, after she had given her all for the apartment and the shared relationship.
The days after the breakup were difficult for Emily. She found it hard to be in the shared house, and when she arrived to collect her things, she made sure to coordinate in advance so as not to meet Idan. The reports in the media about the breakup were published while she was on her way back, and the connection between them was summed up in final messages regarding the collection of clothes.
The breakup cost her physically, and for a week she stopped eating, cried non-stop, and experienced weight loss. Her family, who at the beginning of the journey in the "Big Brother" house did not like Idan but later learned to love him and even waited for the wedding, returned to being her main support.
Today, Emily has returned to live in her parents' house and has not gone on dates since the breakup. Despite the pain, she is at peace with the situation and understands that it is the right step for her. She believes there is no way back, and even if he offers to try again, this is not the chapter she should open.
