Against the backdrop of riots in Ceuta, the Spanish territory in North Africa, Javier Bardem shared a post on his Instagram story accusing Israel and Yair Netanyahu of the crisis on the Spain-Morocco border. Bardem, known for his pro-Palestinian positions, did not write the words himself but shared a text identifying those who allegedly benefit from the weakening of Spain.

"Let's clarify a few things about the incident on the Spain-Morocco border: Ceuta is in Africa, not in Europe. This is not an 'invasion' of the West — if anything, it is the opposite, considering that Morocco is increasingly functioning as a client state aligned with the West."

Further in the post, it is claimed that Spain has been the most prominent voice in Europe against the war crimes of Israel and the USA in Palestine, Lebanon, and Iran. It is also alleged that Yair Netanyahu publicly called on Arabs and Muslims to liberate Ceuta and Melilla, and even explicitly threatened to fund organizations that would push for this, as direct revenge for Spain's solidarity with Palestine.

"We don't know who engineered this crisis, but we know who benefits from a weakened and unstable Spain: Israel, and the far-right in the West that wants to turn migration into a weapon against Muslims."

The post concludes by claiming that the crisis has nothing to do with Islam 'invading' Europe, and everything to do with punishing the most prominent European government still willing to call genocide, genocide.
