Jackie Azulay: "When I left 'MasterChef' I was a star, and he reached out to me"
In the 'MasterChef' kitchen there is always an atmosphere of competition, but between the pots and pans, surprisingly special friendships are also discovered. Azulay revealed a connection going back years with Eliav Sasson, a contestant this season and a successful dress designer. "He reached out to me, an amazing dress came out, and we became friends," she said.

This is perhaps the most stressful task that the 'MasterChef' contestants (new episode tonight, after the news, Channel 12) have faced so far this season, and no less than 12 elaborate dishes will reach the judges' examination. And yet, it seems that between the times, the aprons, and the oven, there is time for friendship. During the cooking, Eliav Sasson spoke about the friendship between him and Jackie Azulay. "There is no such partner in life, there simply isn't," he said.
Jackie elaborated on the connection that was formed between the two when she first became famous: "It's more than a partner, it's my brother. We have known each other for years. When I finished 'MasterChef' I was a star. Eliav reached out to me and said, 'I want to make you a dress.' We did, and it was the most fun in the world. He made me an amazing dress and we became friends," she said with a smile.
It seems that Eliav has developed many friendships. Besides the connection with Azulay, Gal Kaspers also told in an interview about an early acquaintance between her and the contestant of the second season: "He and Avi Levi, winner of the second season, were good friends and he would come to my grandmother's. I remembered him as a child," she said then.
