After a year of on-and-off romance, reality star and chef Jackie Azoulay is heading to the altar following a romantic proposal by her partner, Oshri Abergel. The plumbing contractor from Herzliya dropped to one knee during a live performance by singer Liat Banai in Sofia, Bulgaria, catching Azoulay completely by surprise as the audience burst into applause.
The couple, whose relationship was first made public in September 2025, has experienced multiple breakups and reconciliations over the past year. Following brief separations in December 2025 and June 2026, they reunited in late August during Azoulay's 43rd birthday celebration at the Tel Aviv Port, shortly after she spoke candidly about their intense connection in a press interview.
Reflecting on their journey, Azoulay previously shared how therapy helped them navigate their differences. "There was a very strong bond between us, a love I am not sure I've ever experienced," she noted, recalling how a couple's counselor affirmed their compatibility after they both acknowledged their deep feelings for one another.
Azoulay, a mother of four and previously married, has a dating history that includes relationships with younger partners, including former football players Daniel Bussi and Benny Peretz. Her relationship with Abergel features a more modest seven-year age gap in her favor. Abergel is also divorced and does not have children.
