Itamar Ben Gvir is more in love than ever: A romantic surprise for his wife
Minister of National Security Itamar Ben Gvir shared a touching tribute to his wife on Tu B'Av. "Ayala is home, family, six lovely children, and above all an immense love," the minister wrote.
The Hebrew Day of Love, Tu B'Av, flooded social media with a wave of romantic posts. One public figure who decided to share a particularly personal and family-oriented angle was the Minister of National Security, Itamar Ben Gvir. In a Facebook post accompanied by a joint photo with his wife, Ayala, the minister showered her with compliments and offered a glimpse into their marital life.
Ben Gvir shared that during an interview this week with the newspaper "B'Sheva," he was asked if he consults with his wife regarding various decisions, to which he answered with an unequivocal yes. According to him, the couple shares everything—with the exception of operations in Iran—and supports one another in decision-making.
"Ayala is home, family, six lovely children, and above all, an immense love that I feel all the time," the minister shared.
Alongside the warm words for his wife, the minister used the special date to wish all bachelors and bachelorettes the joy of finding their perfect life partner and building a home. He concluded his remarks with a direct address to his wife: "I remember for you the kindness of your youth, the love of your betrothals, your following after me in the wilderness, in a land not sown! Happy Day of Love!"
Ben Gvir was not the only politician to reveal a personal side for the holiday. The chairman of Yisrael Beiteinu, Avigdor Lieberman, also shared an intriguing photo from the past on social media, in which he appears alongside his wife, dressed in a suit and wearing a kippah. The marital gesture and Lieberman's traditional appearance drew many reactions online, as he accompanied the photo with warm words of love and appreciation in honor of Tu B'Av.
