How far will this go? Ahead of the Likud primaries to be held next week, Defense Minister Israel Katz is shifting gears in his political campaign and published another video today, Monday, aimed at party members.
In the new video, Israel Katz chooses to present what he defines as the "revolution he led in the security establishment." The campaign focuses on breaking the security concept, moving to an offensive policy, strengthening the settlements, damaging the Iranian terror axis, eliminating senior officials of terrorist organizations, and expanding the IDF's operational freedom of action.
The central message that Israel Katz seeks to convey in the video is that "Israel is not returning to concepts - Israel initiates, attacks, and decides."
The publication of the video comes following the official video that Israel Katz published just last week. In that previous video, he presented himself as a "right-wing Defense Minister" and boasted of the policy he adopted – among other things, on issues such as refraining from signing administrative detention orders against settlers in Judea and Samaria.
