Israeli Influencers Lash Out at 'No Other Land' Creator Yuval Abraham

Israeli influencers and social media figures, led by model Maya Kay, have sharply criticized Yuval Abraham, co-creator of the controversial documentary "No Other Land". The film, which premiered and won awards at the Venice Film Festival, has drawn severe backlash within Israel for its harsh portrayal of the IDF.

Backlash and Public Outcry

Following the festival, the documentary sparked outrage across the Israeli political and military establishment, including public condemnations from senior officials and a call from Culture Minister Miki Zohar to revoke the creators' citizenship. During a recent television interview on Channel 13 with Raviv Drucker, Abraham addressed the heavy criticism, stating that he deleted his social media apps and expressing fear about his future: "The Land of Israel is my home... Of course I'm afraid I won't be able to return, what would I do out here abroad?".

Abraham's remarks failed to garner sympathy among prominent Israeli cultural figures and influencers:
