Food manufacturers are constantly searching for the next big thrill, and Osem has recently introduced an unusual lineup of Bisli snacks named "HaMugzamim" (The Exaggerated). The new series features three surprising flavors inspired by culinary trends: spicy churros, pickled cucumber, and polenta parmesan. While approaching the concept with caution, reviewers found the execution surprisingly accurate. The spicy churros delivered a potent mix of sweet and hot, the pickled cucumber lived up to its name, and the polenta parmesan emerged as the crowd-favorite classic. Priced between 3.80 and 6.90 shekels per 60-gram bag, these snacks offer an amusing twist for adventurous snack lovers.

Protein Ice Cream and Spicy Soup Croutons

In the frozen aisle, NBA star Deni Avdija’s protein ice cream brand, Turbo, has expanded its lineup. Following last December's launch of vanilla, mango, and hazelnut chocolate, the brand added strawberry and cream alongside an improved pistachio recipe. Each 150-gram personal cup contains 21 grams of protein and 252 calories. The strawberry and cream flavor stood out with a delicate sweetness and 18 percent real fruit content, while the pistachio offered a rich, creamy profile without artificial protein aftertastes. Available for 24.90 shekels on Wolt or 69.90 for a trial pack of three, the strawberry version earned high praise.

Meanwhile, Osem also launched spicy soup croutons seasoned with turmeric and chili pepper extract. Contrary to expectations of mild heat suitable for children, these croutons pack a genuine punch. They add a vibrant kick to traditional vegetable soups, appealing to both parents and kids accustomed to bold flavors, priced around 13 shekels for 350 grams.

Beverages, Burger Sauces, and Coffee

Beverage enthusiasts can explore the new pink grapefruit soda by Nørdic Mist. Praised for its relatively low sweetness and coarse carbonation, it offers a refreshing alternative priced at 3.50 to 5.00 shekels per can. In the condiment category, Master Chef introduced a bottled burger sauce that resembles a classic thousand island dressing, winning over younger family members with its rich profile, priced between 11.90 and 21.90 shekels.

Finally, coffee lovers can enjoy Nespresso’s new Festive Crystal Spark Double Espresso capsules for the Vertuo system. Crafted from 100 percent Arabica beans sourced from Costa Rica, Nicaragua, Guatemala, and Indonesia as part of the Festive 2026 limited collection, these capsules deliver a rich, café-quality double espresso experience for 32.20 shekels per sleeve.
