Israel Weather: Seasonal Temperatures with Chance of Rain and Flash Floods
Weather remains seasonal with light coastal rain and heavy heat stress in southern valleys. A slight cool-down is expected for Sukkot, with potential rain and flash floods early next week.
Today's weather will be partly cloudy to clear, with a slight chance of drizzle or light local rain along the coastal plain, particularly in the southern coastal region. Temperatures are not expected to change significantly, remaining seasonal across most areas. Heavy heat stress is expected in the Jordan Valley, Dead Sea, and Arava regions.
Tomorrow, on the holiday of Sukkot, a slight drop in temperatures will be felt, with no significant change expected on Sunday. On Monday, temperatures will rise slightly, though occasional light local rain is expected in the north of the country.
The Meteorological Service noted that while the extended forecast remains distant, a weather change may occur during the intermediate days of the holiday (Hol HaMoed), with rain expected in various parts of the country. This will begin in the north on Tuesday, and toward Tuesday night and Wednesday, there is a chance the rain will spread to the south, including a risk of flash floods.
