The Israel Basketball Association's professional committee, headed by Gur Shelef, convened to review the national teams' activities. Despite disappointment over the senior national team failing to qualify for next summer's World Cup, the youth summer campaign was deemed successful after all youth teams maintained their Division A status.

During the discussion on the senior squad, a review was conducted regarding the preparation period and recent window games. Following the August window results, professional recommendations were presented, including improvements and corrections in offensive and defensive components, alongside integrating young players into the roster as part of building a foundation for coming years.

It was further determined that the next two windows will be significant regarding FIBA rankings, as well as sportsmanship, visibility, and the national team's standing in the international arena. Upcoming games will also serve as part of the process toward future tournaments, including the pre-Olympic qualifiers in the summer of 2027 and EuroBasket qualifiers.

In the youth sector, it was noted that in every age group there was at least one player who stood out and ranked among the top performers in their respective championship. All Israeli youth teams remained in Division A for another season, and the committee determined that each of them met its target.

Simultaneously, it was emphasized that across all age groups there is enough talent to keep Israeli teams in Division A, but regularly competing for medals requires more high-level role players. Additionally, a shortage in physicality, athleticism, and defensive versatility was noted. Despite a complex period, the preparations for all youth teams were defined as successful professionally, operationally, and logistically.
