Iranian Official Warns US Forces to Leave Middle East Amid Regional Tensions
Iranian Parliament Deputy Speaker Ali Nikzad demanded the withdrawal of US forces from the Middle East, warning of a crushing response to any military action or moves in the Strait of Hormuz.

Iranian Parliament Deputy Speaker Ali Nikzad issued a severe threat against the United States, demanding that its forces withdraw from the Middle East and warning of a harsh response to any further military action. Speaking during an online session of the Iranian parliament, Nikzad addressed the strategic Strait of Hormuz, declaring that Tehran will not hesitate to retaliate against any hostile move in the vital waterway.
Nikzad asserted that the Strait of Hormuz symbolizes Iran's power and represents the failure of enemy calculations, adding that any military adventurism in the area will be met with a crushing blow. According to Iranian media reports, he claimed that Iran's armed forces have successfully repelled American threats and thwarted the plans of US President Donald Trump.
Warning Washington against maintaining its regional military presence, Nikzad stated that the best course of action is voluntary withdrawal to avoid further escalation. He argued that the United States suffered a severe defeat in the military confrontation with Iran and suggested that Trump's threats are attempts to compensate for battlefield failures and domestic political struggles.
Drawing parallels to previous American withdrawals from Afghanistan and Iraq, Nikzad asserted that a similar fate awaits US forces across the Middle East. He also accused Washington of attempting to subdue Iran through economic sanctions and military pressure, emphasizing that the Iranian economy has withstood these measures and that the public will not yield to foreign demands.
