Mojtaba Khamenei, the Supreme Leader of Iran, has called for an immediate and powerful response to any enemy threats without geographical limitations during a high-level meeting with top military commanders, according to state media reports on Saturday.

Military Preparedness and Target Updates

Khamenei met with Armed Forces Chief of Staff Ali Abdollahi, Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps Commander Ahmad Vahidi, and Army Commander Amir Hatami. He stated that if the USA and Israel resume strikes, Iran will determine the timing and conditions under which the conflict ends. State media reported that Khamenei instructed military officials to update the target bank to include tangible and intangible assets belonging to the USA and Israel, while emphasizing the need to strengthen intelligence and combat capabilities.

Indirect Negotiations and Diplomatic Efforts

Meanwhile, diplomatic channels remain active as Qatari mediators continue discussions regarding a potential agreement with the USA. A diplomatic source indicated that Qatari negotiators traveled between Tehran and Doha following intensive talks, with Iranian negotiators also heading to Qatar for ongoing discussions. The leaked draft points reportedly cover key contentious issues, including the Iranian nuclear program, US sanctions, and the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz, with potential Chinese involvement to guarantee implementation.

Hardline Stance in Tehran

Despite diplomatic engagement, senior Iranian officials maintain a rigid position. Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf dismissed pressure tactics, stating that progress can only be achieved after agreement on Iran's seven core conditions. Ebrahim Azizi, head of the parliamentary National Security and Foreign Policy Committee, warned that any renewed miscalculation by the USA or Israel would result in severe political, economic, and security losses for both nations.
