Iran faces severe economic hardship following escalations with Israel and the USA, yet authorities have launched a bizarre propaganda campaign targeting US leadership.
In Tehran, billboards featuring mock prison cells have been erected, housing an actor wearing a Donald Trump mask and signature suit. The actor paces back and forth, reacting to overhead aircraft.
The installations are accompanied by propaganda clips and festive music, expressing a desire to punish Trump for damages inflicted on Iran. Passersby have documented the spectacles on their phones.
