The Central District Prosecutor's Office filed an indictment at the Central District Court in Lod against 26-year-old Pikado Gibto from Netanya, charging him with the aggravated murder of Alexander Tsemach at a local gas station in May. According to the indictment, filed by Attorney Roi Loss, Gibto decided to kill Tsemach at his workplace inside the gas station convenience store following a prior dispute between the two.

Investigators established that Gibto, accompanied by an accomplice, obtained a stolen motorcycle and a firearm. Approximately half an hour before the shooting, the suspects conducted a preliminary recon of the scene wearing helmets and gloves to conceal their identities. Returning shortly after, Gibto entered the store and fired four shots at close range, killing Tsemach instantly.

Following the shooting, the assailant fled the scene on the motorcycle to a nearby grove, where the vehicle was abandoned. The prosecution has formally requested that Gibto be held in custody until the conclusion of legal proceedings, charging him with aggravated murder, weapons offenses, and obstruction of justice.
