Incident in Nablus: Israelis entered the city, stones thrown at IDF forces

Earlier on Friday, a group of Israeli citizens entered the outskirts of Nablus. According to the IDF, Palestinians threw stones at them, and an Israeli citizen fired a warning shot. No injuries were reported. IDF forces acted to remove the citizens from the area.

Earlier on Friday, Israeli citizens entered the outskirts of Nablus in the Samaria Brigade area. According to the IDF Spokesperson, Palestinians in the vicinity threw stones at them, and an Israeli citizen fired a shot into the air. There were no casualties in the incident.

At the same time, reports were received regarding Israeli citizens vandalizing a cemetery. IDF forces, which had been deployed in the area in anticipation of the group's arrival, acted to disperse the gathering and remove the individuals from the area. All Israelis have since left the city of Nablus.

Subsequently, stones were thrown at IDF forces operating in the area. The troops responded using standard suspect arrest procedures, which included firing at a primary instigator.

The IDF stated that forces remain deployed across various sectors to prevent further friction. The army reiterated that entry into Area A is prohibited and dangerous for Israelis, and constitutes a violation of the law.
