Mosques, quarry, and vehicles set on fire in Judea and Samaria: IDF distributes warnings
Following the terror attack that claimed the lives of Binyahu Malet and Major Yuval Ezra, a series of retaliatory acts were reported in Palestinian villages. The IDF mapped the terrorists' homes in the village of Tell and distributed leaflets warning against further incitement.
A series of violent acts occurred overnight between Saturday and Sunday following Friday's terror attack, in which Binyahu Malet, a member of the Havat Gilad standby squad, and artillery officer Major Yuval Ezra were killed.
Palestinian sources reported that two mosques were set on fire—one near Nablus and another near Tulkarm—along with vehicles burned near Ramallah. In the town of Qusra, a mosque was set ablaze and graffiti calling for revenge was sprayed. Similar incidents were reported in the village of Kur, while an attempt to set a house on fire was documented in Beit Furik.
Simultaneously, a group of settlers attacked the Ein Samiya quarry near the village of Al-Mughayyir, destroying heavy machinery, and set fire to vehicles in the village of Beitillu.
IDF and Shin Bet forces operated in the village of Tell, where the terrorists who carried out the attack resided. The homes of the terrorists, including the one arrested by Duvdevan fighters for snatching a weapon, were mapped in preparation for their demolition.
In several areas, including Qaffin, leaflets were distributed by security forces:
"To those who incite riots: stop inciting chaos. We will not allow it, and the consequences will be severe. We are following you everywhere and at all times. Do not mess with us."
The leaflets further warned that distributing inciting content online is considered a terror offense and will lead to arrest. Overnight, IDF forces conducted a wave of extensive raids and arrests in the Tulkarm area, with most of the detainees identified as released prisoners.
